A jpole dipole 1/2 wave for 4 meter
J-pole, centre fed dipole. I built it using two 1 metre lengths of 6mm aluminium tube, and all terminations are inside a waterproof electrical box. Inside, I also placed a coax choke balun, which is built out of a 25mm piece of pipe, with 11 turns of RG58 coax wrapped around it

If it's using used a 50 Ohm coaxial transmission line, the main problem in constructing a 1:1 current balun using bifilar windings is that you have to get the impedance of the transmission line formed by the two parallel wires exactly correct
