- Off Center Feed Dipole (OCFD) -
This 'Off Center Feed Dipole' antenna (OCDF) is used on all ham-bands 160M-10M. I'm using it with my PALSTAR AT1KP Antenna Tuner. I previously used a Carolina Windom 160 but my experiance is that this antenna picks up much less noice (QRN/Static)

The OCFD antenna in NOT a 'Carolina Windom' or G5RV type antenna, there is no radiation from any part of the vertical feed line. On the OCFD antenna the balanced feedline is just a feedline!

- Construction -
The antenna is quite simple to put togheter. I use a pize of 'lexan' plastic to make the center isolator 100x100x10mm - Drilled three 10mm holes for the element wires and support rope, one 6mm hole for the ladder line. Made one 'extra' pize of 'Lexan' plastig about 50x30x10 with one 6mm hole to fasten the ladder line. He screw/nutt used to fasten the ladder line in non ferrite material (Stainless steel)
