The 1: 4 Stream balun

Many 1: 4 voltage baluns consist of a powder-iron ring core with a bifilar coil. The number of turns on these cores is a compromise between sufficient self-inductance on the low tires and a reasonable symmetry on the high tires. The disadvantage is mainly that in the case of an antenna that is not completely symmetrically suspended, a sheath current will start, which in turn can cause LFD / TVI
