A High Efficiency Extended Length Mobile Antenna
I came up with an antenna that extended only 1.65 meters or about 5 feet 4 inches above the top of the vehicle. It had a calculated efficiency of 42% when compared to a half-wave dipole

160m DX Mobile Antenna
Mounted in boot on battery box. 110amp Leisure Battery
20m and 40m band
The 40m band loading coil, which is clipsed on the the rod when required
21 to 30 MHz Mobile/Portable Antenna
The antenna consists of two sections. The bottom half which is a fibre glass tube with the loading coil and at its base has a standard 3/8" UNF thread, and the top half which is a stainless steel whip
A portable vertical antenna for 160m
it's just under 3Mtrs long. It is mounted on the roof of the car on a cross member bolted to the luggage rails

Linear loaded short dipole 21Mhz For my amateur radio activities on the HF bands I only have a 3.6 m wide balcony available for antennas. After some study I decided to experiment with a shortened dipole for the 15 m band
