Shortened antenna on 160m
- The dimensions of 160-meter full size antennas lead you to look for acceptable solutions for their shortening, the author, for example, was driven by the sad fact that a life-size inverted dipole on a tree of reasonable height (12 m) does not fit the roof of a typical prefabricated house

160 meter Low Noise Antenna Experiments- I built my first homebrew 160 meter transmitter in 1959 with parts from a discarded TV set, it incorporated a pair of 807's in the final putting out 100 watts
160M 1/4 Wave Vertical- 160m vertical antenna project, it is 100' of Rohn 25G and a 20' aluminum stinger, the base is made out of four 6 power line insulators sandwiched between two Rohn base plates
160 meter short TX loop antenna- Here is a successful 160 Meter short TX loop antenna4 feet high, 3 feet wide, and 6 inches deep
160 metre L Antenna- I use an L shaped antenna on 160 and have had very good results, it is a total of 165 feet long and shows an impedance of 50 ohms+j88
60-80 and 40-10 1/4 Wave Vertical- Large coil added for 160m. Note 160m high and low taps at base and 80m high and 80m low selection at top of coil.Thick red wire shorts out coil for operation on 40m - 10m
