My 136 kHz Station
The antenna requires 4mH at 137 kHz to tune it and I have built a loading coil with a variometer using two polystyrene plastic
My LF/MF Antenna Tuner
The LF loading coil and connect it to the antenna tuner
Operation on the 136kHz Band
The traps can be ignored at LF. A huge base loading coil is needed to resonate the antenna against ground
Operation at LF and MF
There is no preamp at the loop! In the shack, the RG-58 connects to a 50 ohm in/out preamp
Prove di trasmissione nel sud Italia
Un TX ibrido Transistors Valvole da 50w.out, ed un antenna verticale di fortuna si sono raggiunti i 10 km. in cw standard
